We want you to think of that Law and of that Army as having existed from the very beginning, and that during the course of countless ages hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of souls of earth have enlisted in that Army; and a great many must have risen from the ranks, if we would account for the Great Assembly, the Church of the First Born, and the Spirits of Just Men made Perfect, mentioned by Paul and who are evidently all ex-human beings.

It must not be thought that we are basing our knowledge of these facts solely upon Bible statements, for in all religions there is found plenty of evidence of the existence of a Spiritual Hierarchy that is governing the world. In fact, in the esoteric doctrines of Judaism, called the Cabala, there is given definite and detailed information about this Hierarchy, undoubtedly brought down from remote antiquity by the Jews through the Priesthood and taught only to initiates of the inner mysteries.

It is not our purpose however in this article to go further into the subject. We wish mainly to get our readers to thinking on it and to realizing that there must be such an organization in the invisible realms; for nothing else will account for the unquestioned order, harmony and perfection in which the world is governed.
