a cloth underneath the injured member to keep from having the floor stained. By at once knowing the Truth that God is all that is and cannot be hurt, she was instantly healed, after a little blood, which she feels was not needed in her body, had passed out. It was wonderful to me, to hear Mrs. A. tell this story so calmly.

Mrs. A. had another very remarkable healing early in the winter. She scalded her arm one morning very seriously (to mortal consciousness). That same time God led her to me. Knowing nothing of her injury, I just appeared upon the scene. She looked up with joy in her eyes when she said, “God sent you.” I declared the Truth for her, saw her “whole and free.” Before I left, she said, “I am healed!” And she was healed. This led to her joining our group, for soon after that we began to get together so often to talk that it just naturally almost formed itself.

The healing of Mrs. W. was VERY wonderful. She too, has been in the habit of coming to me when anything unpleasant happened, but this time she healed herself instantly of a scorpion bite. The instant the thing bit her, her wrist puffed up as large as a baseball, as she describes it (or nearly that size). It turned black. Her husband was frightened and said, “Nora, you have been bitten by a black widow-spider. You will die if we do not get help at once.”

She did not see the insect that bit her as she reached underneath a trunk in the house of a sick neighbor, who had sent for her, but we feel sure it was a scorpion. It made two holes as the scorpion does, having two vicious points to its tail with which it protects itself. When her husband became frightened, she remained calm, she tells me (I knew nothing of it until it was healed, although two days later when she showed it to me, if I had not had the knowledge of truth I did have, I should have been very badly frightened. It was black and blue for about three inches above her hand and around her arm, but no inflammation at all, just evidence of what had happened), and said, “I am not frightened! I am not even disturbed. I shall proceed about my work, I KNOW THAT I AM HEALED.”

She declares positively to all doubters, that she never had a single bit of discomfort from this thing, after the first realization, when she instantly declared the Truth and WAS HEALED.
