The Inner Life

THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | AUGUST 1934

Each worked alone and many times had come to the altar, only to hear the words, “If ye bring your gift to the altar and have aught against your brother, leave there thy gift; go make it right with thy brother, then bring thy gift.”

So this morning they had returned together and were blessed. That was on Friday. On Sunday I awoke repeating “I AM!” with great joy, and then hearing these words, “I have written a new name on your forehead—I AM.”

It seemed as if there had been a union between my heart—Love—Christ—God, and my mind—Their human expression. And then God said, “Let My desires come into perfect expression,” and the outer me said, “I Am letting.” It all seemed very wonderful to me and was attended with so much peace.

The monotonous round of beginning and ending as expressed in days, weeks and years is gone, and I am enjoying eternity, infinity, God, Jesus Christ, Oneness; but not sameness of earth expression. I, like the Sun, let my light shine, and that is all I have to do.

I have changed my views about loyalty, for I see I was too loyal to men’s methods. I know now that God cares not how we come to Him, or what we do to get there—just so we come. and truly realize that it makes no difference what we do; we cannot help nor hinder His Plan for us. That is life for me. All I do or have done has just helped Him grow and unfold me in consciousness and to fulfill His purpose for me. Today I hear Him speak hourly, daily, and know that He is all I am, and that all I do is the expression of His Truth in and through me.

THE WORLD IS CHRIST’S

ALL is of Christ. It can be nothing less. He is the light which lighteth every man in the world.

Know this. Stand fast in faith, and all will be well.

I have redeemed you, My beloved. Help Me to redeem My own who still walk in darkness. Ignorant and deceived are they, knowing not My Law, nor which way to turn. Tell them to look up, always up.
