The Inner Life

There are indeed adepts who have great power over the forces of nature, and masters of self and of others who have great knowledge of things of this and other worlds; but Christ is the Capstone, the Head of all earthly and divine attainments; and none who have not found Him within their souls, entered His Consciousness and become One with Him, can know and say “I and My Father are One,” and “All that the Father hath is Mine,” and can understand His meaning when He says, “Then ye shall know that I am in the Father, and ye in Me, and I in you.”

HOW YOU CAN HELP

IF YOU know any earnest workers in another Movement who sincerely love and are serving Jesus Christ, and who you feel might want to enlist in this Inner Work through remaining in their present association, you can help spread the work by allowing them to read this article. Likewise you can help by seeing that the Magazine gets into the hands of all earnest seekers. It should be seen and read by thousands who have never heard of it as yet, and you will be doing your part by making it known to as many as possible by word of mouth, telling others what it contains, and distributing copies.

PRACTICE OF THE PRESENCE OF GOD

“IN THE beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. All things were made by Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made.”

If thou knowest this, dear brother, then why dost thou make it so hard for thyself? If thou wilt but practice the Presence of God in all thy living, the time shall surely come when thou wilt consciously do the Master’s will in all things. For the age of miracles is not past, but is yet to come! When the need is, the wisdom and the power to do all things will be given to His beloved ones.

I tell thee that in this being always conscious of God’s Presence both within and without thee—then He being all that thou art and all there is—thou shalt arrive sooner than thou expect to that state when thou wilt make no mistakes. Because in God’s Presence all is perfect, and the consciousness of the Presence of
