THE IMPERSONAL WORK

IN THIS Department will be included teachings and truths for more advanced students, especially for those who have received the monthly lessons in the Papers during the past five years.

Some of our readers perhaps may not be able to grasp these truths, but we urge if so that they reserve them for future study and consideration, as they will contain matter of vital moment to the soul, when it is grown ready to receive and use it as intended.


INNER WORKERS

CONTINUALLY reports come to us of excellent Inner Work being done, often amazing us at the quick and sure results that manifest.

This not only confirms the law that by confidently and unswervingly Knowing the Truth for anyone—the Truth of God being All in all, despite what appears—the Truth will outmanifest; but it also proves that by stating this Truth to the soul of another in the Silence, paying no attention to the other’s mind and personality, the soul will hear, and soon the outer man will respond.

Keeping these two facts in mind, we now offer some suggestions for definite work, giving illustrations of how the best results can be obtained.

Let us suppose that you know of Communist or Atheistic meetings being held in a downtown park or hall, where God and Christ are being denounced and reviled, or where the overthrow and destruction by violence of the government and the existing social order is advocated by fiery agitators.

If possible, first walk through that park or enter the hall, thus carrying your aura into their aura and making a definite channel of connection and contact; and then, in the quiet of your private room, just before and during the time you know the meeting is being held, see Jesus Christ in the midst of the crowd attending the meeting. See Him as a radiant, glorious Presence, so majestic and overpowering the vibrations of the wondrous Light of Divine Love pouring from Him, that nothing of the darkness can abide in His Light.

Try to see Him in His great Reality as the Light which lighteth every man, to the exclusion of everything else. Hold to that vision,
