your books it commenced to improve faster, although it was on the gain before that. Especially in the last few weeks, since I began attending the Group meetings, I have gained very fast. The sore is now smaller and is healing. I feel as young now as I did when sixteen, and I am fifty-three. I feel my whole body renewed—I am in another world.

A friend came to see me tonight because several others told her of how I had changed and how young I had grown. She was very much surprised when she saw me and wanted to know what had made the change. I showed her THE INNER LIFE, and told her about you and your work. She is going to send for the Magazine.

OUR coal bin has been a problem for the last five years, all during the depression in fact. But lately it had gotten to be terrible and then one day it dawned on me that we were using the wrong method. We would go to put coal in the furnace and with each shovel see the coal-pile diminish and wonder where the money would be for the next load, and we were never able to get more than a ton at a time.

So instead of seeing it diminish after that, each time I put in coal I would bless the coal-pile and see it increasing, and inside of three weeks we were able to put in coal to last through the winter.

When I started this I was desperate, because there was no way in sight to get the next supply for a month. I am using the same method now on other supplies and I know it will develop also. I am firmly convinced that it is not necessary to skimp and count pennies, and with God’s help I am not going to continue doing it anymore. I have gotten so I can actually see the supply pouring into my lap, and when that occurs I know the demonstration is not far off.

Do not misunderstand me, I am not one who is crazy for money, but I do want to have enough to help where I see help is needed, and not have to figure to the cent to meet the very necessities of life. If you can give Spiritual advice to one in need and yourself show that you are not merely talking—that it is a demonstrative fact, they will accept it more readily, that I know.
