All souls still wholly controlled by self and by the allurements of the outer world are not as yet ready to respond to the Call of the Christ and of selfless Love, and they will be allowed to continue to dwell in the illusions of self still filling their consciousness.

NOW LET US consider just what is the King’s Chamber. In the Pyramid it is the innermost chamber or part thereof. In man it is the innermost part of his consciousness. When the conscious Initiate has persisted by long searching and striving to reach that innermost Chamber, or to find his way back to his Father’s Home—into His Consciousness, and has been rewarded by finding it and entering into the radiance of the Divine Love shining there, the goal is nearly reached.

But even though his soul has entered and has been given a glimpse of the glories there, not until he is able to abide therein—to let the Light of Divine Love shine and rule continuously in his outer consciousness, the goal has not yet been won.

All souls however—which means the inner consciousness of humanity—have been brought to that stage of unfoldment in the King’s Chamber where at this special cyclic time they will be permitted to view the wonders of the beauties of the Christ Life during the next two years. But this will be an inner or soul viewing, and it will reflect itself in the outer only by the mind’s response thereto and its resulting choice—whether to give up all to Christ, or to turn back to the world of self.

Let us see if we can show just what that means. As stated in the King’s Chamber articles, “There are many on the earth today who have already entered the King’s Chamber, and are undergoing the process of transformation,”—or of transferring their centers of consciousness from the mind to the soul. For the outer man, to have entered the King’s Chamber, it means that he has turned to God and has dedicated his life to Him, so that Love is shining in his heart and the mind is trying to let Love or the Christ, his Higher Self, have charge and direct everything. It has not yet been able completely to surrender, because of qualities of self still in evidence. These have to be labeled forth and shown clearly to the mind and then to be mastered and transmuted, so that there is nothing left in the consciousness to attract inharmony of any kind.
