NOW let us apply the truth we have been unfolding to you in the Mind articles to the removing from your mind and body any wrong condition existing there.

Get quiet. Close your eyes and still your mind. Then deliberately turn your attention to that pain in your body or that condition of dis-ease that is causing you so much concern.

But remember, you are not turning to or looking at your physical body or any of its parts, but at the picture of them you are carrying in your mind—what you have thought them were like.

Therefore, we are now asking you not to look at that picture, but to look right through it to the ideal or perfect body or part that it hides—to your real body deep within and that is always trying to come forth into expression, when it can get past that untrue thought-picture clogging your mind and preventing your seeing there the truth.

This will help.

Way back in the beginning when God thought you into being, He formed you in His image and likeness. This image and likeness form has existed from the beginning and still exists, and it serves as the pattern or ideal body that ever since has been trying to come forth into outer expression. For that image and likeness body is your real body and is the house or temple in which the real you dwells.

Now try to realize that the sick, diseased or pain-racked body you are seeing and believing is so is not your body, nor is it the real you that is feeling and believing all this untrue situation.

What is now manifesting is only what you in your mind are thinking and believing is so. It is that thought-picture you are seeing there and are feeding it life and power over you by your dreading the pain and imagining the outcome of it all. Is it not so?

Then if you will do exactly what is shown you above, trying to feel that wonderful healing and strengthening life within that is your real life and will feed it with a loving trust in its power to express its perfect health in you, you will thereby know and prove the truth of your real nature, and will be free from the lie you have been thinking is so.
