IN THIS Department will be included teachings and truths for more advanced students, especially for those who have received the monthly lessons in the Papers during the past five years.

Some of our readers perhaps may not be able to grasp these truths, but we urge if so that they reserve them for future study and consideration, as they will contain matter of vital moment to the soul, when it is grown ready to receive and use it as intended.

I HAVE many things to tell you regarding the experiences I am having. However time and space will not permit me to write of them at this time. But I must tell you of a most wonderful demonstration of God’s Love that I experienced this week.

No doubt you read in the papers of the awful storm and cyclone which swept our state (Michigan) Thursday afternoon.

My husband and myself were sitting in the back yard, playing with our pet kitten, when the dark clouds gathered and we saw a yellow cloud coming from the West in the distance. We knew it was a cyclone, and hurried to the house, closing doors and windows as we went.

We no sooner reached the living-room when the storm broke in all its fury. The wind was blowing at a terrific rate, carrying roofs, chimneys, trees, and everything before it. As our cottage was right in its wake, I knew that nothing but the hand of God could save us.

As I entered the living-room my eye lit on The Impersonal Life lying on the library table. Not knowing why I did so, I picked it up and stood facing the storm. Immediately I felt a great Calm and Peace surrounding me that passeth understanding. I closed my eyes and spoke aloud, and said,

“Stop! Peace! Be still! and know that God lives in this home. Where God is, no harm can come. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, go your way in peace!”
