The Inner Life
THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | SEPTEMBER 1934
be measured according to its impersonal, loving and effective use?
This is basically true. For HE, from whom all Power comes, is ONE, is the WHOLE, of which all things seen and unseen are a part. He makes use of and grants Power only to that which serves the WHOLE, and only in accordance to the measure in which it serves the WHOLE.
To serve the WHOLE is to unite with and to partake of Its all-inclusive Nature and Power; and your money must likewise serve the WHOLE before it is a medium for Power and Love to manifest in your life.
It is You, the Awakened and Risen Ones, who must pour into that medium the Power and Love derived from the WHOLE, and must then infuse It with your Life also derived from the WHOLE, that by Divine Alchemy you can create a form acceptable in Heaven and serviceable on earth for the blessing of your fellowmen.

POSSESSIONS
THIS DAY I would say unto thee, beloved, that not until the sense of ownership is vanquished, canst thou see and come into the whole Truth.
Naked wast thou born, and naked and unashamed shalt thou stand in the Presence of Christ. Naked and unashamed, because of Purity that knows no shame.
Until thou, dear ones, dost change thy way of thinking and of speaking, I fear for thee. Nothing belongs to thee, and in realizing that nothing is thine, then are all things thine.
Canst thou not see that? Me and I, my and mine, are not words for thee, Brothers of Light, to use. Canst thou, oh Brothers, truly say my and mine about anything? No.
It is always we and us, our and ours; for nothing is thy brothers that is not thine, and nothing is thine that is not also thy brothers.
Open thy hearts and minds, thy home, thy purses and thy cupboards—all that thou seemest to possess, yet possess not. But when it is opened wide to share, then only is it truly, truly thine.
Divine Love knows no father nor mother, no sister nor brother; but knows that nearer than all human relationship is the Christ Heart of Love that taketh unto itself all men. And ye are their brothers.
