clearly showed you the shortcomings and weaknesses in your character that needed to be mastered and will still have to be done before you could win the Kingdom, it was the seventh answer to which we first turned; for that told us more than all the other six your Spiritual status and your value to the Master’s Work.

The time has now come when those who are prepared are being called to active participation in that Work. Those of you who have been faithful and have made the finding of the Kingdom first and thereby have followed with us every step of the way, have truly found something most precious. You have learned “who you are and of what you are a part,” and your whole life and only concern now is in doing the part that is before you to do, knowing that nothing else matters and all other things are being taken care of.

From time to time definite work has been given. All along the way you have been required to undergo certain mental training and discipline. You have been called to meet in the Silence daily at the noon hour in a united Service that has brought untold benefits and blessings to many, thus preparing and accustoming you to regular and systematic surrendering yourself to Spirit’s use. Thus you have been shown how to do inner work in a general way.

But in the near future, with a little further preparation for those who have had all the Lessons, a definite and far-reaching work will be allotted every soul who proves it is his or her one-pointed desire to become thoroughly fitted and equipped for inner work of a vital nature.

To that end we are now asking all such to volunteer by sending us their names, signifying their willingness to undergo the further preparation indicated below, or to give us convincing evidence that they are already equipped mentally and spiritually for such inner work.

The equipment needed is a thorough study of and ability to practice the truths in the booklet, THE WAY OUT. It is absolutely essential that you be able to

(1) Think only the thoughts you want to think.
(2) Know how to think God’s thoughts,
(3) See the truth behind what appears,
