mind and find lodgement there, and if you build a picture of it and feed it with your fears—your life force—it develops on the physical plane into a seemingly real thing? That is the process of all creation on the physical plane. The picture becomes a belief, you feed and nourish it with negative feelings of one kind or another; then as it becomes established in your consciousness it crystallizes there, and eventually outmanifests on the physical plane in the flesh or in your living conditions, according to the nature of the belief.

So you see from the above exactly what you are being called upon to handle by your Higher Self, the Loving One within. Knowing it now for just what it is, you can easily handle it; because now it will have no power over you and you can quickly send it about its business—drive it out of your mind—by simply knowing the truth.

What happened today has come as a rather staggering blow, in view of the fact that things seemed to be going more smoothly than for a long time. My husband came home at noon and laying some keys down on the table, said he was “pulling out.” At first I did not realize what he meant, it was so sudden. He said he didn’t know where he was going, but it seems he told others he was going to Reno to establish a residence.

He has left me piled up with debts and the skids under everything. He had been planning to go for about ten days, had moved all the furniture out of the office to the home of a friend.

I am trying to sit tight and to know that none of these things move me. Already I am being besieged
