For if you recognize in the great truths in the Impersonal lesson you are receiving, what your soul has been hungering and thirsting for all these years, then can you not see that the time has now come for you to put these truths to actual proof and practice in your life. Your past life has been spent in teaching the truth to others, but all that time you were thus giving out, you were but growing and perfecting your instrument so that it could understand who You, the real teacher, are, and of what you are a part.

Before, everything was inspired to your human self by Something within which caused you to do all that you did. Now, your human self is to learn who and what has been inspiring it and doing these things through it.

The time has now come, dear brother, when your human self is to know who You are and what You came here to do; and You are now in the process of putting the finishing touch on your human instrument that has formerly called itself you, so that You, its Real Self, can take complete charge and live Your life, do Your will and be Yourself in it. That is why, for the time being, this human self is restrained from doing any further work; for no longer may it teach in the old consciousness. It has become ripe now to let You do the teaching through it; and when all is ready, it will find that You will attract to it such audiences and souls that are ready for the truth such as the old you never could or would have recognized before.

Your work will soon be that of bringing to Christ only those who are really ready to come, while it is yet time. Think this over and see if it does not find a response in your heart and so that you need no longer feel discouraged. Strive prayerfully to understand the inner meaning of the wonderful truths we are sending you.
