“Have no fear, keep going, see it through.” As I grew more calm, I saw a handsome black-haired youth, 22 years old—Roman characteristics—serious, honest, holy, a student of some religion—looking at me. He looked just like me, but handsome, holy. Behind him I saw a face—a middle aged Greek, an educator of philosophy; and behind him another very old Greek with a beard; but the expression on his face was majestic, Selfish.

(1) Regarding your “ghost”, perhaps it was some friend on the other side who was but trying to make you aware of his or her presence. Why be afraid? Why not realize that it is no different than if some friend in the flesh would come to you as this invisible friend did. If instead of being frightened you had waited, gotten quiet, and tried to feel the nature of this friend, whether good or bad, and then would have treated him or her as you would any other who had come into your presence uninvited, you would have had a real experience that would have been not only illuminating, but instructive.

(2) Your dream about walking with a child down a basement stairway, probably was a forewarning of some coming experience wherein your human personality was carrying you (the child) out into the rain and mud, when, had it heeded the inner voices calling it back it could have been saved an unpleasant experience.

(3) Your experience with the mirror is most interesting and shows you what will result when you cast out fear and hold yourself steady, poised, master of mind and emotions. When seeing anything like that you should, as when sensing another personality near you like you did that ghost, mentally ask who they are, what they want, and the purpose of their coming; and you will find that the answer will come, declaring their intentions; when you can handle them as you are led from within.

SATURDAY night, when we finish with the lesson, I generally pray, and as I had my eyes closed, a symbol was shown to me of a large white horse with a big black crepe tied on his tail. In a moment he turned, when I saw his face quite clearly; on his forehead were large letters from ear to ear, spelling “LOVE.”

Then it was explained to me just as if I heard a voice saying, “We are at the tail end of the crisis. How many are walking along carrying a crepe on their faces instead of ‘Love’?” Then the horse turned, and as if one spoke, these words came, “We must face our fellowmen with Love.”

The vision of the white horse with the black crepe on its tail and “Love” on its face, and your interpretation of it is most satisfying, because it is the truth, and shows that you are truly progressing. Men generally are still wearing crepe on their faces instead of the Love that alone will lead them out and point them the way to true prosperity.

There is no doubt that you are being lovingly taught through these visions, and the blessed part of it is that the interpretations are so clearly given with them. Just know that things that come in this way are for your good, and study their meaning and try to apply it in your life.
