Each day at 12 o’clock noon, we take the names of those asking for such help in the Silence of the Spirit, and “Speak the Word” for them. Many hundreds have testified to receiving the blessings of such ministry.

WE READ carefully all you say in your letter, and if you will permit us to speak plainly, we will say and point out some things that will be helpful to you at this time. As a student of Truth the first thing one has to learn when a truth is shown one is to make oneself do what is shown; otherwise of what good is such truth? Of course there is an inner cause for all of the inharmonies now manifesting in your body and life, and you plainly show the cause by telling of your stomach troubles and what you are eating, and feeling that you should act differently; but say you cannot deny your appetite, and continue to allow it to rule you.

How do you ever expect to get anywhere with that trouble until you begin to take charge of your appetite and prove that you are master, and not your mind and appetite? Both of these have to be mastered sooner or later before any harmony or happiness can come into your life. We are mailing you a copy herewith of our little book THE WAY OUT which we urge you to study carefully, not leaving a statement in it until all of its inner meaning and application is shown you. Then make yourself do what is shown, and you will find that many of the troubles now manifesting will wholly disappear.

Instead of the picture of such hard conditions you are holding of her as portrayed in your letter, try to see with us that she is in just the place where God has placed her, doing the work planned for her in the beginning, where her soul is gaining just the light, help and unfoldment that is fitting her perfectly for her part in the Great Plan. See all the good there is in this work she is doing and refuse to see any of the negative phases, and realize that God is within her and is expressing Himself through her, and will therefore take every care of her.

Hence there cannot be any bad or wrong in what she is doing. Explain fully to your mind until it sees the truth of this, and you will find things will quickly change; for it is only “what you think and believe is so is so is what outmanifests.”
