THE INTERPRETER’S HOUSE

IN THIS Department will be given interpretations of dreams and visions of those needing to know their inner meaning. We reserve for it only those of special interest and helpfulness.

THE CROWN ETERNAL

ON THE morning of the Coronation I awoke about five o’clock but thought nothing about the King. But I was in the inner consciousness and I was placing a crown on a man’s head and told him I was crowning him with the Crown of Life Eternal. I seemed to know the man, but there was no personal attraction between us; but I greatly admired his spiritual and mental qualities and it was so real and all so plain. Our bodies were like youth instead of the appearance of age. Then it flashed across my outer mind that the coronation was on and I turned on the radio and heard it all, the meaning has not been given to me yet.

Your dream of placing a crown upon a man’s head telling him that you are crowning him with a crown eternal, may have been your outer self that you were crowning with the higher understanding that has come to your mind through these Teachings. The You who were doing the crowning was the Real You, the outer you being symbolized as the other man.

THE LORD IN THE MIST OF THEM

I WAS in a large chamber, and it was simply beautiful. It had in it statues and flowers, and the flowers were pale pink and violet and mauve, and of course the green leaves and vines. The colors were such as I had never seen here, so delicate. There was music coming out of the walls, and with no human mechanical source apparent. Then there was a beautiful seat or rather throne-like chair, and I was going around touching up the corners with a broom. There wasn’t really any need for it, for it was spotless, but I was getting ready for my King.

Then He came and sat down on the chair and I could see up to His shoulders, but I could not see His face—just an instant glimpse is all. It was so beautiful. He had on a white robe with Greek design in gold all around the hem and the sleeves. Will you please interpret this for me?

Your dream is a proof of your progress in Spiritual understanding. The large chamber you were in being the new consciousness in which you have been led by these teachings, and all the statues and flowers were but the adornments of the beautiful truths therein. The throne-like chair was where the Lord, your Christ Self, sits; and when He came in and seated Himself—which means, remember in the center of your consciousness—you could see of Him was for that robe—His Purity, the glory of His face being too great as yet for you to behold.

Think this over until you get its full meaning, and rejoice that He has come and seated Himself in your consciousness.

IN THE OUTER CONSCIOUSNESS

I SEEMED to be in the air, above the earth. There were others with me, although I did not see them. We were watching some airplanes below us; there were many of them and they were all shaped like fishes. Suddenly one of them seemed to collapse and fall, but as suddenly righted itself and came up with the other planes. We were all much afraid when we saw it fall, but all laughed at us because of it.

Then I saw a large umbrella-like thing, like a parachute. It was of dazzling whiteness, as were the garments of the man hanging from it. There seemed to be forces that were pushing him down, and many birds alighted on top of the parachute. Those who were with me were afraid he would fall. Our pilot was sure he would not, and I had no fear, knowing he was all right. Will you interpret this?

Your feeling of being above the earth in an airplane shows that you were in a higher consciousness where you could look down and see what others below you were doing, some of whom seemed to be in danger of falling, or of being forced down by those who would harm them. But your pilot who was in charge of your plane evidently knew that they were safe and were sustained by some invisible power—perhaps because of that dazzling whiteness protecting them.

Can you realize that when above in this higher consciousness your pilot, your soul, knows the truth that God is taking care of everything, and that when your mind also knows it—well, then you cannot fall or be harmed in any way. Think this over and see how it must be so.

RAISING THE DEAD

MY MOTHER who was very much of a Truth student passed on seven years ago, and she comes to me in my dreams very often. I dreamed recently that she lay in a coffin, apparently just before the funeral services, for the room was filled with people, although it seemed to be in the evening. I stepped over to the coffin and silently but very firmly spoke words of truth about the One Life, over and over to her. She moved, rose, stepped out, and joined the rest of the people, and the meeting was turned to more of a family gathering. All seemed to have forgotten what they originally came for. Thus was so real to me I could hardly believe it was only a dream, and it has stayed very clearly in my mind ever since.

Your dream was a wonderful illustration of what knowing the truth and speaking the word will accomplish. While of course it was only a dream, yet it was undoubtedly given you to show you what can be accomplished when you do anything in the consciousness you were in at the time. Think on this and try to feel just as you did in the dream and speak with the same earnestness when you want to impress a truth on another or on your own mind, and it will be like raising the dead, so remarkable will be the results, fulfilling the law that whatever you say and believe is so, will outmanifest.
