comrades and especially by the Lord Christ, and apparently you were called there to receive His approval and the mark of your degree of spiritual attainment, which ever afterward will be seen on your forehead by your brothers in Spirit. We rejoice with you, dear friend, at this sign of His acceptance and approval.

There are two vivid dreams I wish you would interpret. In the first it seemed I was out in the chicken yard and there were two little yellow chicks, lying on their sides unable to get up, and almost dead. I reached over and placed my left hand just above them, and immediately they sprang up and ran around as full of life as ever.

That was a month or so again. Then a week ago I dreamed I was sitting with a rather large fleshy woman who had some trouble with the index finger of her left hand. There seemed to be no bones in it at all. They were talking about it (there seemed to be a man with us but I did not see him clearly, just sensed his presence). Suddenly I began to feel a sensation like an electrical current running through my arms and hands and even into my body. It was so strong I could feel it even in my sleep—if you can understand what I mean. I rose from my chair and walked over to the woman and reached out my left hand and moved it around above her finger, and immediately the bone grew in. It seemed to me a very ordinary thing and I wasn’t at all surprised that that should happen. Generally when I retire at night I think and meditate on the words, “Be still, and know that I am God.” When I sensed this current in my body, my head became rather light in weight, and also there seemed to be light in it. It is rather hard to describe just the exact feeling.

It seems that the two dreams you relate were intended to show you that there is a Power in and back of you—symbolized by the man you sensed but could not see, which will enable you to heal or which will heal through you, if you give yourself to Its use. We suggest that you follow whatever impulse comes to you to use this power, and see what happens, for we are sure it will produce the same results as in your dream—if you do it with the same faith as you had then.
