SOMETIME ago I had a vision of myself standing at the very top of a mountain. The rocks were very sharp and jagged. I was facing the East and my arms were outstretched, the wind blowing back my hair; but I was crouched at the feet of someone, and looking up I found that someone was myself. Can you explain what this means?

Your vision of your little self looking up at the Real You at the top of the mountain, was but an illustration of how that Real You in His high consciousness sometimes lifts our mind to where it can see Him as He is.

Go back often to that vision and try to get the full meaning for you. When you realize the truth of that Real You so that you stay close to Him in consciousness looking to Him for all things, you will find that your way will become clear and all be made easy for you. Try to reverse your consciousness so that you will be that glorified Self, and not that little self crouching at Your feet.

IT WAS morning. My husband, my sister and myself had spent the night at a hotel. We seemed to be very cheerful. Everything about ‘was bright, but in great confusion. I stepped into my room which I had just left, and found it occupied. My sister was there apparently putting the last touches to her dressing, and in her usual crisp manner said, “If I stay at this place tonight, I am going to ask for more cover. I slept cold last night and I nearly froze.” I replied, “That’s too bad. Why didn’t you ring for more cover?” I was conscious of being very sorry. She answered, “Well I was already in bed, and you know how it is—when one is in bed one dislikes to get up.”

Your husband and your sister were probably the positive and negative qualities of your own nature. The hotel was a new and strange state of consciousness. It was shown you evidently in order to point out that when in a strange consciousness or condition and you need light or help, all you need do is to ask for it and it will be given you. There is possibly that quality of your nature still in evidence that deems it too much trouble to arouse yourself to a spiritual state of mind so you can ask and receive the “cover” you need.

NEXT morning in meditation the face of a certain young girl whom I know appeared before me. The expression was pleasant, but referring to a drug or herb which she evidently had in her possession, she said, “Of course I shall not use it except in case of emergency; then I shall use it to KILL.” Then my horror her teeth began to elongate and become irregular, like the fangs of a wild beast, and her face became the face of a wrinkled and hideous old woman. Then it all faded away.
