IN THIS Department will be given interpretations of dreams and visions of those needing to know their inner meaning. We reserve for it only those of special interest and helpfulness.

I WILL try to put into words an experience I had on awakening one morning a few weeks ago. Perhaps you will be able to tell me the meaning of it.

It seemed as though I had attended some kind of gathering or meeting, and it was time for me to leave. Two people came to conduct me to a conveyance, a boat seemingly. They were dressed in greyish white with cowls, like an Order of some kind, and one traced this sign with his finger. (A cross surmounted by a circle, but with the cross-bar of the cross above the center of the circle, which was plainly indicated by a dot.)

This was done three times, commencing at the bottom, making the perpendicular line straight up to the cross-bar, then the right arm of the cross, back to and making the left arm, then back and finishing the top of the cross, then all around making the circle. The dot in the center was the last.

I have waited thinking that perhaps I would be given the meaning, but I have not had anything further shown me. It was done so deliberately and was so plain that I feel it had some important meaning. Have you any idea what the symbol represents?

The experience you relate is interesting. Undoubtedly it is your memory of a soul experience in which you were admitted into a certain Order in the Inner Realms of Being, represented by the cross within the circle. The dot in the center but below the cross may have been to show you that when you bring that cross-bar down to the center, so that it forms a perfect cross, with all four arms of equal length, then you have balanced your life within the circle of God’s Life and Love, and will have attained the perfection of Christ.

Think this over and see what is your inner response to this truth.

THERE are so many questions in my mind I hardly know where to begin. After I read the First Paper I closed my eyes, and at once saw Jesus the Christ being loosed and coming to life. He was moving. He had been made of clay—I saw this very plainly.

After the Second Paper, with the yellow card, I thought I would lie down and rest and meditate, and I saw clearly with my eyes closed a large tablet, the same shade of yellow, containing only the words “I Alone AM” in gold. I was so startled that I lost the rest. I saw this before I had looked at the card—it was on a table beside me.

After the Third Paper I saw a long streamlined train, more beautiful than anything I have ever seen in the physical. I ran to the front of the train and wondered how I would be able to get on it. At that moment a door opened and I stepped on. I handed my ticket to the conductor. I noticed he had gray hair but was quite young looking. Then a lady sitting before me drew my attention who wore a peculiar colored skirt. There was a crimson coat that was soiled by lying on the floor that I thought was hers. I wanted to shake it to get the cinders off, but she said she did not need it now.

The visions that come to you on receipt of each Paper are but your mind’s interpretation of your soul’s response to the truths in it. The one received after the First Paper showed to you Jesus Christ as the Light shining in the darkness of your human mind being quickened and beginning to shine. With the Second Paper you entered the pure vibrations of the Light shining out of the great truths in the yellow Meditation Card accompanying the Paper.

The one received after the Third Paper, in which you saw yourself getting on the streamlined train, was merely to assure you that you were ready and able to go on this train, representing these truths. But you must be always on guard and make yourself study and live these truths in your daily life, avoiding any interests that will draw and hold you down to trivial and material things as happened when you were on that train. We feel that in doing this your consciousness will gradually open to a much higher level, from which you will receive wonderful truths and high spiritual guidance.

A TRUTH student girl friend of mine is puzzled over a dream that has kept recurring for over fifteen years and as recently as last week.

She dreams that she is on the Main Street of our city rather late at night, devoid of clothing, running as fast as she can go, mortified but on reaching the upper end of the street where the lights are less bright and there is a better chance of not being noticed; albeit no one ever looks at her or is conscious of her predicament anyway.

We should be very grateful if you would interpret it so that she can make her adjustment and be rid of the dream.

About the dream of your friend, the Main Street of a city is the most public and open part of it where everyone must travel in order to get to the heart of the city.

In the soul realm it would represent a similar state in consciousness, but in that realm one is seen for just what one is—naked and devoid of all covering. Your friend being mortified at being thus seen in that realm would mean that she should be very careful what thoughts and feelings she is carrying around in her consciousness, for they are clearly seen by anyone coming in contact with her in that realm. This dream recurring so often, is undoubtedly to impress strongly upon her this truth, as it applies equally to this realm, for what she thinks and believes is what is appearing now in her life.
