The succeeding experience must have been very illuminating and most convincing to you that you can and do serve in the soul world. Think over carefully that experience and try to make yourself fully acquainted with that world where seemingly you are serving at night, so that it will be as natural for you to serve consciously there as here; realizing that there you are but preparing your human self to understand and know how to serve here as you do there, so that the next time you are shown it during meditation or sleep, you will know that it is your natural work and there will be nothing to be frightened about, and you can continue to help as long as you are needed.

The reason you could lift the sick woman so easily was because her soul was not of earth matter, had no weight and was more of the substance of a cloud, although seemingly solid and tangible. The two men who looked like angels and who seemed to be dear friends, were undoubtedly those who brought you there and with whom you had been working previously.

I dreamed that I was swimming in a very large body of water. When about half way across I had a great urge to hasten, so not looking to the right or to the left, I swam with all my might until I reached shore. Then upon looking back I saw a number of large animals that appeared to be walruses coming after me—or, at least, infesting the water looking eagerly in my direction. I ran until I came to a very high cliff, not far from the ocean shore, climbed up to its summit (where the animals could not see me) and found there a lovely place with a good bed where I was glad to rest after my exhausting experience.
