the tiring forces of the lower nature and a welcome peace and rest.

I frequently, for several years, dreamed the same dream, in which, whenever I found myself in great crowds and I could not make the progress I desired, I would by a simple wave of my hands by my side rise quickly above the heads of the people, at a slight angle, with my feet in advance of my body. I would then make rapid progress, and nothing became an obstacle.

Your dream of being able immediately to rise above the crowd and to make your way rapidly, was to show you what is possible, if you will not allow the thoughts and suggestions of others to hinder and hold you down to earth and material things. You have the power within you to rise in thought above it all and to be your own true self, to have that freedom that you felt so often in your dreams. Think this over and see if you cannot prove and use this power.

On Monday night I dreamed that I was riding along in my car, but was not able to see who was driving. We came to the top of a very high hill where we stopped to admire the view. All around us was the most beautiful scenery I had ever beheld. It was beyond words to describe. I felt as though I were gasping for breath, the beauty and peace were so great. It bothered me that I could not see the driver at the wheel, but, strange to say, a week from that very night I had the same dream, and as I turned to see who was at the wheel talking to me, I found it was the Christ! I saw Him as plainly as though He were here in person.

The car in which you were riding in the dream symbolizes the consciousness in which you are now “riding,” and up to the present you have been unaware that your Christ Self has been driving and has always been with you. However, when you saw the driver and knew Him, it was to show you that He is always beside you doing the driving, whether you are aware of it or not. It was He that brought you to the top of that high hill in consciousness, above the sense of mortal limitations, where you felt the beauty, peace and harmony of the Causal plane of consciousness, thus giving you a glimpse of the Kingdom, your Heavenly Home.
