IT SEEMED as if there was a very high hill of clay. And it was quite narrow and went up into a point. On the top of this hill stood a group of people and in the center of the group was a machine that looked like a motorcycle.

How I arrived I do not know, but a discussion was going on about the many people who had tried to get to the other side of the river and had not been able to do so, that the thought was prevalent that no one could get across.

Then I noticed that a beautiful river was flowing below the clay hill as far as one could see in the North and South directions, and directly opposite the hill was a gloriously green bank and a wide plain that seemed unusually beautiful.

Asking why nobody had been able to get across, I was told that they had to get on the motorcycle to reach there and that everyone who had tried so far had fallen into the river, because the machine seemed to balk or stop as soon as they got that far (midstream) and they were lost.

I said I would try. But they all tried to hold me back, saying it was nonsense, or I was a conceited person to think I could do it when everyone else had failed. But I nevertheless mounted the machine. They had to give it a push to start it, and it began to rise and soar in the sky. Midway it began to balk and I cried out: “There is only God and only God’s Power can do it.” It seemed as if a pair of reins fell over the machine and I grasped them feeling sure of God’s Power, and the machine flew like a bird and landed on the other side, when I heard shouts: “She’s over; she made it!”

The machine just touched the bank and I called to them, “I will come back and do it over again, and will land clear in the middle of that plain.” And I awakened.

Your dream was to show you the power you have within you to soar over every seeming difficulty and arrive safely on the other side. When trials and problems come that seem insurmountable, go back to the feeling of confidence you had in this dream, and it should help you unquestionably to go ahead, recalling that God’s reins will appear and you will feel His sure support and guidance.
