The day for using the Law for selfish ends is past. Make no mistake as to that. There may seem to be a large number still so using it, but their day of retribution is drawing near, and you will soon see the terrible penalty the greater culprits among them will have to pay. The tribulations some of you are enduring will seem as nothing to what they will have to suffer.

The wiser ones among those seeking the way to freedom are beginning to realize that the most important thing in life is no longer in having a job, or an income from material sources; that such do not insure supply—as many have recently learned to their sorrow; and that the real source of supply is not material but spiritual, it is in having the knowledge of the law back of all supply, material as well as spiritual.

They are even beginning to see that spiritual food is more important and much more needed these days than material food; for not until they fully learn the law back of material expression, will they be truly equipped to provide for their material needs; without a knowledge of that law they will still be dependent upon the always uncertain whims of fate or of financial conditions.

Those who hesitate to follow the urge of their hearts to seek spiritual help to gain such knowledge, fearing to give in return for such help, thinking their limited funds more needed for material food, are unwittingly shutting the door tight against the very good they are longing to have manifest in their lives.

The trouble is, in the past, ninety-nine people out of every hundred have been thinking only of getting—getting and holding always for self, deeming that the most important part of attaining success. They do not concern themselves with giving, thinking giving is not to be considered
