present my sleepless nights make me most uncomfortable.
If you can offer some suggestions for me to follow, which will again lead me into the path of peace, I shall be very grateful. My heart is in the Work, and my thoughts are almost continually dwelling in the vital truths taught, trying to make them a part of my consciousness. I shall await a reply when you are at liberty.

WE ARE very glad that you wrote explaining the experience through which you have passed. What you have gone through has been similar to that of many who have followed the instructions you received. The force that you felt in your arm and hand was unquestionably one that is working through or in some way is connected with the movement giving out such teaching. The fact that it was not agreeable to you and you were led by your Higher Self to repel it and refuse to be drawn out of your body, proves that there is a much higher way intended for you, and you were made to resist it with all the power of your Spiritual will.
The aeroplane from which the wings disappeared was to mislead you into believing it to be a force that would carry you to the heights, but would really have dropped you with a thud to the lower regions. For it proved to be like the white metal gas tank used in giving anesthetics—a symbol of the methods used by such a force.
All of this was of course symbolic, but it proves the origin and nature of what was trying to get you under its influence. We are glad that you did not succumb to it, and that you look only to and turn to Christ within as your Leader and Teacher. Hereafter, when any sensing of that force is felt, immediately turn within and open
