whether by rough stones of the Pyramids or by man of flesh and blood (‘stones’ of the human edifice), the Law remains the same,—THE LIVING TRUTHS SHALL NOT DIE OUT.”

There may be some who read who recall as in a dream having appeared before the entrance to the Pyramid and experienced many of the same ambitious thoughts and later the same feelings as those of the Candidate described above. They will perhaps understand the purpose of this article and of that which follows; for we may give in the next issue a succeeding article describing further experiences of the Candidates who venture through the secret halls of this Ancient School and who pass successfully its ordeals.
