in consciousness only; that we never really see anybody or anything, all activities, all happenings, all experiences being witnessed within our own minds, and are but the reactions of our minds to the impact of vibrations of light, sound, touch, smell, taste, and thought-force, striking different sense organs and centers of our bodies; which translate them to our minds so as to cause all the different reactions. We think we see, hear, feel, taste and smell certain things, but in reality we see, hear, feel, etc., only the concepts or thought pictures formed in our minds as a result of the reactions stated.

On the physical plane, anyone who has not reasoned out this fact will ridicule and deny the above statement, claiming he knows what he sees, hears, feels, etc., and that they are actual, tangible, physical things. But such a one is probably not aware that science has arrived at the conclusion that every physical atom consists only of a number of centers of negative energy, called electrons, revolving rapidly around a positive center, called a proton, none of these centers ever touching each other; that this activity all takes place in a sphere of ether; and likewise that no two atoms touch each other, all living and having their being in an ocean of ether and all comprising the body they form—even as our sun and all other planets and stars are revolving in space also called ether. It is evidently the intense activity of all atoms and planets that makes what composes them appear to be solid and tangible—when they are actually, in the ultimate, nothing but energy.

And now shall we tell you something else—something that we think has never been given outside of these teachings?

What scientists call ether is in reality consciousness—
