Yet most men do not bother to answer these questions. Why? Because their minds—and likewise their souls—are not yet developed so they can understand the answers.

Dear friends, the above questions and many more have been answered in the various issues of this Magazine, especially in the first year’s issues (available in bound or unbound form, entitled The Inner Life Study Course on the Soul, for all who are sufficiently interested). But how many of its readers have truly and carefully studied these subjects until they perfectly understand the answers to these questions?

There are many explanations given about the soul in the various teachings and books dealing with the subject, but no where else can you find what will fully and satisfactorily answer the following questions:

Why, if God is All in all, and man was made in His image and likeness, are not all men good and perfect?

Why, in all the many ages since man was first created, have so few reached perfection?

Why did Jesus come into the world to save the world? Why does it have to be saved, when it was created good and perfect, as was stated in the last verse of the first chapter of Genesis?

Why did Jesus say to Nicodemus that he had to be born again before he could see the Kingdom? What part of him had to be reborn—his body, mind or soul, or all three?

We know the bodies and minds of men are far from perfect; but why are they not perfect, if God is all they are?

We look around at all men—at the savages of Africa, Australia and the islands of the seas, at the colonies of China and India, at the peasants of Europe, at the low-type criminals of every country in the world,—why are they such? Have they souls? Why are they different from the educated, the cultured, the so-called highly civilized souls among men?

Are such poor, ignorant, greatly handicapped ones always to remain such? Is there no hope for them? Does God mean it to be so?

Is there not something in them that must in time grow out of that condition into a higher one? What is that something? It
