The Inner Life

THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | AUGUST 1936

flows in and through us, that it maintains us in perfection, the woman was healed.

He explained that sometimes he could not touch the Friend, but when he did, his desire came into expression whether in the form of health or rain for the crops according to his request.

What a lesson for the pale faces! We are One with this Perfect, Infinite, Omnipresent Life Essence and It keeps us in perfect peace, if we Let It. It guides our feet and guards our path. It is the One Mind, the Perfect Healing Power, and we have the power to use It.

How do we defeat our purpose in life? Emerson says, “We are gods on a drunk.” When we read in newspapers, listen in on the radio, follow Mussolini and Stalin in their mad schemes, it seems the intoxication has reached the stage of delirium tremens. Pink elephants dance on the ceiling, dragons belch fire and destruction from the four corners of the earth; crime, war and poverty stalk abroad and we are dizzy with fear. “The goblins will get you if you don’t watch out.”

What is the solution?

Sober up!—BE STILL, AND KNOW, I AM, GOD.

Analyze your thinking, stand guard over Wokanda, and permit no negative or destructive thoughts to project into its creative soil any picture that produces forms which terrify you, of which you are ashamed and which you do not want.

Right thinking can create things in your mental world, and if you believe them to be real beautiful pictures of love, health, happiness and an abundance of supply of all good they will come forth into your life bringing the innermost desires of your heart.

Plant roses in the soil and the earth brings forth beautiful creations of color, warmth and fragrance. Plant onion seed and the same earth produces a silvery sheathed, healthful bulb, with a strong odor. Be careful what kind of seed you plant in your subjective mind. Think beautiful patterns and the forms materialized will be beautiful and satisfying.

Rub the wonderful lamp, turn on the light and let the imprisoned splendor shine out. Know that “All the Father hath is mine”, Enter into the fullness of your Father’s love and perfection, realize the Truth that makes you free, and give thanks to God Who is All you are.
