CORRESPONDENCE STUDY COURSES
IN OUR plans for a School for Disciples it was intended to provide a Preparatory Course of Instruction, (1) for those who were unable to attend the School, and (2) for those who wish to prepare themselves for Discipleship, and thus prove their eligibility for admittance into the School and that they are making the finding of the Kingdom first in their lives.
This would naturally mean a new department with a competent head, one who would give it his or her whole attention, would carefully supervise each student, check and correct the lessons, give the right answers and the needed advice to enable the student to master every weakness that stands in the way, and finally would lead the student lovingly and surely into the Higher Consciousness.
We are sure the School is waiting only for the Work to be fully organized in all its departments to become a reality, and that is fast being accomplished. The right one to head and organize the Correspondence Department has come to us, and the necessity of its being started at once, so that as many as possible can be quickly prepared for the Master’s Service, is becoming more and more apparent.
It has therefore been decided to announce the availability of the Correspondence Study Courses at this time, and to invite all who wish to take advantage of them to write for application blanks.
There will be the three Courses—one on the Mind, one on the Soul, and one on the Spirit, as at present, with over five hundred questions in each course, bringing out clearly every phase of the teachings and requiring not only a thorough study of the text but a building of the truths therein into the consciousness—before the questions can be correctly answered and the lessons fully learned.
Each Course contains forty-two or more Lessons, and a week is allowed for the study of each Lesson, which means that the answers should be sent in each week promptly. This will require a careful study and a daily application of their great truths
