ALL PEOPLE are about settled in the conclusion that we are living in extraordinary times, that what we are undergoing is not just another of those periods of slowing up of business that is said to occur every twenty years. People are no longer believing what the newspapers and business leaders have been telling them; they have begun to think for themselves, and to see that the only way that relief from present conditions can come will be through a complete change from the old order of things.
