The Inner Life

THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | MAY 1934

will do their part, and that not only will the means be provided, but that the way will be shown how to make the magazine one of the most desired, the most helpful, and the best known by thinkers and truth students generally; for we also know Whose work we are doing and to Whom the magazine is dedicated.

As what we are giving forth comes from the Source of all Light and Truth and even as when Light shines in the darkness it draws to it all who are seeking the Light, we likewise know that those who are of the Light will do all they can to enable the Light to shine.

In order to make the magazine give forth the greatest possible amount of Light and Help, we are intending to provide in succeeding numbers practical, working directions that will enable earnest students to heal themselves and others, to overcome lack and rise above unhappy and inharmonious conditions, and especially to learn how to control their wrong thinking and be masters of their own destiny.

In other words, we want to make its contents so instructive and helpful, so interesting and entertaining, that its readers will look forward eagerly to each forthcoming number, feeling that it is their magazine and that it is as necessary to their soul’s growth and sustenance as their daily meals are to their physical life.

In fact we are increasing its size and will add one or two more departments, beginning with the June issue, thus making up for the decreased price to those who are already subscribers. For all those wishing it, however, we will be glad to extend their subscriptions for the difference—if they so prefer. Therefore kindly advise your wishes.
