because many hundreds would like to take the magazine but $2.50 seemingly makes it prohibitive these times, so they think; not realizing that the Spiritual food it contains is far more needed even than material food, for it points the one and only way to freedom from the lack and limitation that is preventing them from having the good things of life they seek and need.

The second plan we therefore decided to adopt, feeling that the friends of the magazine will rally to its support and help to enhance its unusual qualities and helpfulness more widely known; for it has only to be known by those seeking the knowledge it so fully provides of the Inner Life and its other truths, with its reduced price placing it within the reach of everyone, and it will grow steadily but surely in demand until it attains the wide recognition and circulation it deserves.

There is no reason why this should not be, for it has gradually built up a grateful list of readers who feel they cannot get along without its truths; and not a month goes by that an ever increasing number do not write us telling how helpful and inspiring they find each issue, encouraging us in the belief that we are actually providing what our readers want and need.

Therefore we do not hesitate to call upon its friends to help us tide over the monthly loss until its subscription list is able to take care of everything, by doing all they can to send new subscriptions, ordering and paying for sample copies to be sent to lists of friends, speaking enthusiastically of it to as many as they can and thus getting them interested, and otherwise helping us to bear the financial burden as they are led.

You will note from this that we are trusting fully to the Law—to the One Source of all supply—to take care of us in this our need and your need. Which of course we must do, because it is what we are continually telling others to do; and we know on Whom we can depend. But we also know that Source can work only through channels that have first been made aware of the need, and that will respond when they feel the urge of their hearts to assist.
