THOU hast learned that ye are not thy mind, and are not thy body; that ye are a soul, are My Consciousness shining in the darkness of the consciousness of the mind.

At present, therefore, I dwell within thy consciousness—deep within, where thou knowest Me only as a voice speaking positively, when My Will needs to be known and to be done.

Then thou knowest only that thou had to do what thou didst, not realizing that I compelled thee to do it. But soon I will have brought thee to that state where thou wilt long to know Me as I AM, wilt turn to Me and seek Me with all thy heart.

For as thy mind and its former beliefs of Me as a man—as Jesus of Nazareth—no longer satisfy the hunger of thy soul, which hunger is but My preparing thine inner consciousness so I can enter and abide therein, I must make Myself known to thee as I AM—as My Father’s Love, which alone can feed thy soul and satisfy thy heart.

Many are now come to that place where they hunger for the true Bread of Life, where intellectual teachings and beliefs no longer satisfy, where they can no more appease that inner yearning for something—they know not what.

It is because I, as Love, am drawing close and am preparing to take up My abode within thee; and because beside Me nothing can compare, thou hungerest, without knowing it, for Me. And not knowing it, thou wilt continue to seek without, wandering here and there, to this or that teaching, movement, or teacher, ever striving to find what will satisfy that craving within—only to be disappointed, disillusioned and discouraged anew—until thou findest what comes from within—the Soul’s Love.

How may ye know that Love? Only when it satisfies that aching hunger in thy heart, and something there says, “Ye have found it,” and there is peace within.

Thus I bring thee to know what is Love—what is highest and best for thee—what alone feeds thy soul. And what is thy soul?
