All men in the world are under the law. To them Karma always applies; not one jot or tittle of it shall pass until all of it is fulfilled for them.

But for those who are under Jesus Christ, He fulfills the law and lifts them above its application and power. How?

To prove this we will show you the real meaning of Jesus Christ, and that by His being the Way, the Truth, and the Life for anyone, it lifts that one above and fulfills the law for him. But of course we do not mean the man, Jesus of Nazareth, that lived nineteen hundred years ago in Jerusalem. We mean the Holy Spirit of God, His only begotten Son, that came down into the world as Jesus Christ, and by His life, gave to the world a picture of God’s image and likeness, and by His wondrous teachings showed humanity what would be the fruits of obeying the law and of following where He led.

For remember, if we are to believe His many statements, Jesus Christ was not a man, although He came to earth in the form of a perfect man. During the few years He was here, he planted in the minds and hearts of men an ideal or pattern whose influence has grown and ripened throughout the centuries, until today His Name is the greatest power and incentive in the world.

But is not that power in the minds and hearts of men? Aye, is it not truly the “light that lighteth every man,” whether he knows it or not? For being the Holy Spirit of God, the Word or Logos, He must be the life of all men, or must be that which gives them their real life. St. John, in the fourth verse of the first chapter of his Gospel, says His life is “the light of men:” but again he says that “light shineth in the darkness, but the darkness comprehendeth it not.”
