The Inner Life

THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | MAY 1934

When you see this clearly in your mind, so much so that you believe it, just KNOW that it will efficiently and wisely serve you—and rest in that knowing. Then go serenely about your business, without the slightest doubt of its ability to supply your every need—and it will be according to your belief.

A wise master never questions a faithful and efficient servant. He just expresses to him his wish or need. That suffices. Such a master is always well served. In fact, such a servant usually anticipates all of such a master’s wishes and needs, and his household is run in perfect order and harmony. And such a master has the wisdom frequently to praise such a servant, and to acknowledge his faithfulness with true gratitude.

So will your mental household and all its affairs be run when you as a master recognize the wonderful faithfulness and efficiency of your servant money. And if you only know it, when you apply the same rule of action to any other pure idea in your consciousness, it will serve you with equal faithfulness and efficiency.

For when you once know the truth about an idea, or see it in its purity as we have shown you the truth about money, you withdraw from that idea the qualities and force with which you may have invested it by your untrue thoughts and feelings about it and which gave it any power it had to cause you inharmony and distress.

This article is intended only for those who recognize in it a very great truth and who have the patience to stay with it until they have made all of its wonderful meaning a part of their consciousness. Such will bless the day they were led to read it.

All others will read it, may find it difficult to follow its reasoning, or may be entertained by its intriguing thought, or may even sense in it something important; but will pass it by as they do other similar interesting articles—that is all.
