The Inner Life

THE HERALD OF THE NEW AGE | SEPTEMBER 1935

is greatly shortened, however, by these unusual souls, who quickly take possession of and begin to train their brain-minds, as you can see from the examples we present to you herein.)

“With Elizabeth, I was doing some housework, when suddenly a voice rang on the air with intense vibration in these words. ‘You have been chosen as the channel for another wonderful soul.’

“And as I wrote you at the time of her birth, I was privileged to see her in her radiant Light Body as a beautiful Angel girl, just before she was born into the baby’s body. She is getting sweeter and dearer every day. I wish you could know them both.

“I am looking forward to the August issue with a deep prayer that I may become a pure channel of God’s care and direction of them, because I know they are both such wonderful souls that the inharmony that seems to express in the outer, part of the time, must be all my fault. For example, I will give you a picture of a portion of one day, as it looked to me in the outer.

“WHEN I had bathed and dressed Sunny one afternoon, trying to see him clothed spiritually in the white mantle of the Christ Light that was protecting, guiding and blessing him, I came out to find Elizabeth had climbed up into the cupboard and upset the sugar over everything, mixed with a plentiful amount of flour.

“I cleaned that up, trying hard to see the Christ Light clearing my inner vision so that I could see and experience only order and harmony. Then meantime Sunny came back from outside, soaking wet—he had been doing a ‘little watering.’ I changed all his clothes, trying again to concentrate on him the mantle of White Light. I then bathed and dressed Elizabeth, likewise feeling I was clothing her in that Light.

“When partly dressed, in the other room I heard a crash. Sunny had climbed up to get some milk out of the refrigerator, and the whole refrigerator upset on his legs. I got him out, giving thanks that he was only slightly bruised, held that the Christ Light was pouring through, blessing and healing him. I changed his clothes again, for he was all over fruit-juice, milk, etc. Then I cleaned up the mess on the floor and returned to Elizabeth to finish dressing her, only to find she had climbed back into the tub for another bath. I had to change all her clothes again.
