In this first age the gifts were greatly diversified among the members, some receiving one thing, perhaps only a part of a gift, while others manifested an entirely different power as a result of contacting the higher essence.

Now these manifestations will be continued in this new age with however a fuller and more complete installation into each individual.

“And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.”—St. John XVI-23.

As it thus depends upon his own ability to contact universal realms without assistance from the old Helps (Logos and Priesthood) each may receive a fuller measure of individual power. For one to be able to rise to this more direct method must necessarily be an experienced, highly trustworthy type, and will therefore receive in accordance to his state of usefulness each or all of the various gifts. This, however, being carefully ordered among the different universal groups, will be regulated to the individual, just as it was to the early churches.

It must be remembered that much of this great knowledge and power has been lost to the churches of the present day. When the early christian church was installed as a part of the secular governmental regime, it began from that moment to be used for selfish purposes and it gradually lost its gifts, its great universal manifestations. Hence today the church holds an ancient ritualistic and ceremonial form which is almost entirely devoid of potency,—an age-old symbology which is practically shorn of its vitality, except what is established from the contact of its members gathered in social communion. They have
