being the One and Only Teacher and Master for them. But they know Him not as the man Jesus, but as God’s Holy Spirit in their hearts, HIS LOVE that is All in all to them.

When that LOVE (the body of Christ) has washed them pure and clean of all sense of self, so that they live only to serve Him, their souls open wide to the Consciousness of Christ, and they enter the Kingdom of God’s Love, known as the Great Christ Brotherhood—which you may know is only that state of consciousness where one is continually open to all the Love, Wisdom and Power of God, even as was Christ Jesus.

There are many thousands of souls who have attained to that Consciousness back through the ages, and they constitute the Light of the world, even as Jesus said to His disciples in Mat. 5:14. And then later He told them, “I am the light of the world; he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”—John 8:12. And then again, “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”—John 9:5.

These Christed Souls are actually the channels of expression through which God’s Love reaches, impresses and helps all of God’s children who look to Him in unselfish love and trust for their sustenance and supply of every good thing.

These Christed Ones live in Spirit only to serve, and are the agents and executors of God’s Loving Will. They are the Divine Ones Who teach only those in whom the Christ Spirit has been born, whether such are in the flesh or in the spirit. Through inspiration, careful guidance and guarding, They keep the soul ever looking to the Christ within for its final authority in all things, keeping Themselves in the background as much as possible.

With disciples of the mental and intuitional types it is easy, for such get Their instruction wholly by impressions, and the vibrations of these Christed Teachers are so filled with Love that it is seldom such pupils can tell the difference between Their guidance and that of their Higher Selves.

Those disciples who see clairvoyantly or hear clairaudiently naturally have more definite contacts with these Teachers, but these contacts are always of a purely Impersonal nature, similar in a way to relations with College or University Professors. They are never known, however, as or allow Themselves to be called Masters, and seldom if ever give Their names. When asked,
