this Life, which is flowing to you from God’s very being, you change your vibrations of negative fearing and mental picturing of this cough, etc., to a positive radiation of these life forces from the center of your being out to its circumference. In other words you become positive and throw off all inharmonious and negative thoughts and vibrations from your mind, and stand forth free, in your true state of spiritual perfection. This will always work if you follow the directions given.

As I take up my pen to write, I feel as if I am writing to myself, even to that part of me which speaks in THE IMPERSONAL LIFE.

I love your Impersonal Teachings; they fill me with comfort, confidence and assurance that the way I have taken throughout the past five years has been the better way. These years the weary and heavy-laden have sought and found their way to me—five glorious years of service, of love, freely given, as freely received. I have been laughed at, censured and criticized because I refused to have an office and make a charge; and since I have read your Impersonal Messages I know I was right, for I could find no Me who would sit like a spider in a web and take toll; I belong to and with the Universe.

But now comes my question to you. For the last four years I have failed in the application of the facts—which I give to other souls—to myself, in that there is an old pain that seems to assert itself. When I go and sit down quietly and let those healing words, “Be still—and know, I AM, God,” take possession, again all is well. And so the play goes on.
