SOMETIME ago, at a certain house in our town, the furniture, pictures, etc., even seemed to have thrown about by an invisible agency. A member of the family took up a Bible to read; whereupon it was snatched from her hand and was seen to have struck her by the same invisible agency. Of course such an unaccountable display has left us nonplussed. Perhaps you may be able to throw some light upon these things that will help us, for which we will be very grateful.
There is no question but that there were some evil forces or entities in the invisible at that meeting who caused disturbances mentioned. These forces would only be attracted by someone in the meeting who brought them with him, or who had something in his nature that would attract them. Therefore, you should be very careful about attending meetings of such character and should be sure that everyone there was spiritually minded like yourself. At such meetings much psychic force is liberated and it attracts entities who seek to get the benefit from it. If this force is of a low vibration it will attract entities of a low nature; or if of high vibrations, entities of a low nature cannot approach, being prevented by those of the higher nature as well as by their not being able to stand the high vibrations.

The furniture there was also good of its kind, but covered with dust, and I was distressed to find rooms in a house I owned showing such lack of care. I rang the bell. From several of the rooms, men, dirty from the work they were doing, came in response and began taking things out; and to my dismay I found in several of the rooms, coffins, holding bodies of people long dead, whom I should have buried.
Here I awakened. Later, while in meditation, and this time I was not asleep, I saw myself climbing a very steep path which was thick with stones and thorns, and was often blocked with sharp rocks. While I saw that my feet were torn and bleeding I was not conscious of any pain, or even of discomfort, but my heart was grieved because others walked that way and their hurt feet would cause suffering.
Then I was aware of a most comforting Presence. I did not see anyone; I only knew I was companioned, as I never was before, and I
