There is perhaps at the present time no subject of more vital interest to man and about which there is so little known than the human soul.

This treatise is intended to make clear this subject; to explain all of the various phases of the Soul; to show its source, its birth, its life, its nature, its development, and its destiny; to make its relation to the mind and body, as well as to the Spirit animating it, so plain that all who read may fully understand and never more need think of it as something hazy and mystical, and incapable of full comprehension.

Likewise it is proposed to tell all about the home of the Soul, to show and prove that the Soul lives in a world that is more real and of more importance to the evolving intelligence we call man than is the outer physical world that many think is the real and only world.

The time has come when the hundreds of thousands who are getting glimpses of the Soul world, but who do not know it, and do not comprehend the significance of their visions, often deeming them to be hallucinations of a mind that may be getting unbalanced, should be given a rational and intelligible explanation of what they see and hear, and be shown its relation to what at the time is happening to them in the physical world.
