NO MAN challenges the facts of sunlight and dark, of winter and summer, of birth and death. Yet there are those who challenge the fact that there lives a Creator, a Divine Mind, that watches over and governs all.

Is man’s vanity so colossal, that he cannot accept the truth, that but for the God who made him he would not be? Yield up that haughty pride, Oh My Brethren; know you that as God’s children you are watched over and protected. Know you that in the Scheme of Things there is such vastness of intelligent planning that not one thing happens by chance; that not one atom on the face of creation goes astray. All things are watched, all things are beloved possessions of the Omnipotent Father God.

That we find man in all grades of development gives us the final proof that life must go on forever. As God is Perfection, so He wills that His life expressions, illustrated by the lives of men, must continue to unfold until all attain His Perfection.

As children are assigned different tasks in school, so is each soul apportioned some duty in life, some lesson its individuality must learn. Some souls refuse to learn the lessons placed before them, and so are given more and harder tasks through which they must toil, until they have learned that God’s commandments must be obeyed.

When man was first placed upon earth, he was given direct knowledge of God and His commandments. He then felt himself to be close to his Father, and free to ask for guidance at any time. But man is just as close to his God today as he was in the beginning. As he asks, so will his heart be opened to receive more of the truths of God’s laws.

The Christ was sent to earth to show man the way to attain soul perfection. All prophets who teach in opposition to the words of the Nazarene are false, and should be regarded as such; for as the Christ Love is the ideal love toward which we all strive, we should honor and protect His Name above all things.

Is man less today than he was in the beginning? Are his prayers unheeded?
