walk upon it as easily as upon dry land—which He then proceeds to do.

The proof of this is that Peter, seeing Jesus do it, thought if Jesus would bid him come to Him, he also could walk on the water. And when Jesus bade him come, believing, Peter walked part way toward Him, until letting his attention wander from Jesus to the waves, he feared and began to doubt—and then he commenced to sink. Jesus’ words confirms this when He said, “Oh thou of little faith! Wherefore didst thou doubt?”

Study this explanation until you get all of its inner meaning, and it will help you to understand better what follows.

When Jesus fed the multitude with the five loaves and the three fishes, “He took them and looking up to heaven He blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat and were fed; and they took up that which remained over of broken pieces, twelve basketsfull.” —Mat. 14:16-18.

What He actually must have done was to know the truth that the universal substance of Mind is One—the substance is no separation as the human mind thinks; therefore seeing the five loaves as just an outer section of the inner universal substance, He proceeded to break off small sections of the visible part, thus drawing forth, with each giving out, more of that substance into visibility, as needed.

This proves again that it is all done by thinking spiritual substance into form and holding it in consciousness as being so—and then acting as though it is physical substance.

FROM THIS you can see that true thinking is not what the ordinary mind thinks is thinking, but that it is actual creating; and that creating is nothing but a working with spiritual substance—visible to the mind, but invisible to the outer senses—until what is seen and FELT in consciousness, through conscious action of mind and will, becomes visible in the outer world. In other words, it is a causing by process of whatever can be seen clearly in imagination to be brought forth into visibility or manifestation.

Another illustration is in Jesus’ calming the storm, by saying unto the sea, “Peace, be still.” And He said unto His disciples
