futile it would be at the present time to attempt to get congress to consider and pass any plan that would have the welfare of all the people at heart, instead of a few powerful groups!

Some of you will say—those who have become enamored of some particular plan, How do you know that the one who conceived this or that particular plan was not in a new and higher consciousness when he received it, and that it is not now the plan of the Kingdom?

In reply we can only say that the Plan of the Kingdom in its fulness is not permitted to be seen and known until it is ready to be used. With a little careful thought on what has just been stated you will see that this must be so.

Yes, glimpses of it are permitted to prepare the minds of men for a comprehension of what is needed, as fast as they are able to accept and put into practice what is shown.

That is always the way—a few minds get ideas of a new and higher condition or order of things; they work out their ideas and give them to the world. They are usually crude and imperfect to begin with. But they cause men to think. Then other minds get improved and clearer ideas, after seeing the ones in operation, and then still others, until we have what seems to be perfection—only to learn of further improvements next year, and each succeeding year.

These all are the results of the working of human minds and of human efforts. Not as such is the perfect Plan of the Kingdom, which we have been promised Jesus will soon bring to the world. It is the Ideal or Pattern that has existed from the beginning when the world was formed. We prefer to wait for His Plan, and are not interested in man-made plans, only as we see in them the signs of our brothers being prepared for the true Plan soon to be given us.

Some may claim that their plans were given them from spirit and that theirs is the plan of the Kingdom. May not one of these plans be intended for man’s use now?

Consider well what we have said above about the ignorance, selfishness and greed still dominating men’s minds, and listen to
